Exceeding that time limitation will result in a two-stroke penalty per team in the foursome, of if individual stroke play, per individual. Therefore, any foursome requiring more than four hours to complete play, and finishing more than fifteen minutes behind the group ahead, will be penalized in like manner.
- Shotgun Tournaments- The nature of the shotgun format is such that normally, all foursomes will finish their round at approximately the same time. Therefore, it is expected that all play will be completed within four hours.
